Soon-to-be father Ranbir Kapoor is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming thriller, Shamshera. Ranbir has been constantly working on his upcoming projects and the actor is quite excited for Karan Malhotra’s Shamshera which is set to release in the theaters on July 22.

Recently, in an interview with YRF, Ranbir played the fun rapid fire question-answer game. He revealed several things about himself where he answered questions but also confirmed certain rumours. During the game, Ranbir was asked to reveal one rumour about him that is true. In response to the question, the Sanju actor said, “I have a fake account on Instagram”

There have been ton of speculation about Ranbir having a fake account on social media platforms. Ranbir having a fake Instagram account was not confirmed so far, but the actor has himself admitted to having a fake account on the social media platform.

Shamshera, produced by Aditya Chopra is an Indian period drama film. The film, with its electrifying action sequences, will present Ranbir as a member of a dacoit tribe who has the courage to stand against the British empire for the tribe’s independence. The Barfi star had to change his entire look for the film.

Ranbir Kapoor tied a knot with his Alia Bhatt in April in a private ceremony at his mansion. However, has not taken a break from professional commitments. The actor has many intriguing projects in his kitty. He plays prominent role in Ayan Mukherji’s upcoming Brahmastra. The superhero-fantasy film will also star Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy in key roles. The film will hit the theaters on September 9 this year.

Other than this, Ranbir also has a project where he will star opposite Rashmika Mandanna. The film is still under the shooting process. The makers have not announced any dates for the release of the film yet. Luv Ranjan’s upcoming untitled project will also star Ranbir Kapoor as well as Shraddha Kapoor as the main leads. The film is anticipated to release around Holi 2023. Recently, the duo was spotted shooting for a dance sequence of the film.

R Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut wooed audiences with a romance-comedy franchise Tanu Weds Manu. The two films that released with the onscreen couple managed to garner immense audience appreciation both times. However, we haven’t seen the return of the third part despite the way people appreciated the chemistry between the pair. When asked the hero, Madhavan, who is the in the midst of promoting Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, revealed that he wouldn’t want to return as Manu.

In report by Hindustan Times, Madhavan was quoted in an interview with the popular YouTuber Jaby Koay, wherein he spoke about the third part of Tanu Weds Manu. “I think that’s water under the bridge. There is no point in beating a dead horse. You know, it’s so difficult to come up with original stuff, and then there are expectations of a film. See, if it’s a sequel to Avengers or a superhero series, it’s easier because you have a template. But with Tanu Weds Manu, it’s impossible. And I think I am done with it. I don’t want to go back to being Manu now,” he was quoted saying.

For the uninitiated, Tanu Weds Manu that released in 2011, showcases the story of the two titular characters, how they meet and how complex their love story gets, eventually leading to marriage. Tanu Weds Manu Returns in 2015 spoke about their post marriage life which deals with their internal issues and the entry of yet another character named Datto who adds twist to the plot. While the 2011 release had garnered a positive response from the audience, the 2015 film managed to break records.

Speaking about Madhavan's forthcoming film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, it marks the directorial debut of R Madhavan and is based on the life of the ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan. It is slated to release on July 1.

Aryan Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on the charges of being involved in a drug case. However, the star kid was given a clean chit by the court recently in the case and now owing to the same, Aryan moved the court on Thursday, requesting them to return his passport.

Aryan Khan was accused of being involved in a drug case after the NCB department conducted a raid on a Goa cruise which included some high profile names on the guest list. He was arrested and imprisoned due to the same, along with which his passport was seized due to the bail conditions. He was granted bail post 20 days of his imprisonment. However, in a charge sheet filed in May, the name of the star kid was not included. And later, Aaryan and five other accused were given a clean chit by the NCB due to insufficient evidence.

Owing to the same, Aryan Khan filed an application on Thursday with the help of his lawyers from the Desai Desai Carrimjee and Mulla firm, asking the court to return his passport, as per PTI reports. And in response to the same, the court has ordered NCB to file a reply before the next hearing which is expected to be held on July 13.

The trailer of Ek Villain Returns was launched with much fanfare today amidst the entire cast ensemble which included John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani, and Tara Sutaria. As for the film, this glimpse into the world of villains showcased layered characters and power-packed action. Amidst that, it also gave us a sneak-peek into the chemistry of John – Disha and Arjun – Tara. During the trailer launch, one of the questions posed to John Abraham was the comparison between his chemistry with ex-girlfriend Bipasha Basu versus his chemistry with Disha Patani.

A press conference was held after the trailer of Ek Villain Returns was unveiled, in which, John Abraham was asked about his chemistry with Disha Patani. When it was compared to his chemistry with Bipasha Basu with reference to their films like Jism, he said, “I think there are certain actors, with whom I have worked with in the past, my chemistry with them was lovely. I think with Disha it was absolutely fantastic. And you will see it in the film.” He went on to add, “Kyunki bahut kam logon ke saath aisa hota hai ki (There are very few people with whom) when you see them onscreen, you look at them and you say, ‘it’s really working. With Disha, we felt that. It was really nice and special.”

Ek Villain Returns will also feature Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria as an onscreen couple for the first time. Directed by Mohit Suri, even though it is a sequel to the Riteish Deshmukh, Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor starrer, the plotline and characters are different from its prequel. Produced by Ekta Kapoor and Bhushan Kumar, the action thriller will hit the big screens on July 29.

The first appearance of Indian filmmaker and actor Farhan Akhtar in the Disney+ Marvel series Ms. Marvel is here. The actor was cast in an undisclosed role but it has been revealed he was up to in the MCU's first Muslim superhero show. In the episode on Wednesday, Kamala Khan had new enemies to fight as she discovered more about her cosmic superpowers.

SPOILER ALERT! Following her vision of a train in Ms. Marvel episode 3, Kamala (Iman Vellani) and her mother, Muneeba (Zenobia Shroff), travel to Pakistan to understand what her visions meant and the mystery behind the bangle. They land in Karachi, find more about her heritage and her great-grandmother Aisha, and her Djinn heritage. She also comes face-to-face with the Red Dagger (Aramis Knight) who plays Kareem. He takes her to a secret hideout for the Red Daggers, a group of warriors who tend to stick to the shadows. There, Kamala meets Waleed (Farhan Akhtar), the leader of the Red Daggers, who offers up an ominous message, “When you’re ready, we have much to discuss.”

The episode is packed with action as Waleed explains Kamala how the world connects to the realm of Noor and her own destiny as a Djinn. Waleed says, “The Clandestines and Aisha are from another realm. There are many dimensions around us that we cannot see, and this is just one of them — and this is Aisha's home. It’s connected to our world, but hidden. Behind a veil of Noor that separates our world from them…” There is an intense showdown against the ClanDestine in the episode where you see Waleed sacrificing himself to protect Kamala and her new friends.

Created by Bisha K. Ali, the Disney+ miniseries will introduce us to Kamala Khan, a 16-year-old Muslim Pakistani-American from Jersey City fascinated by the Avengers, who looks up to Captain Marvel in particular, as she becomes imbued with shape-shifting powers.

As created by G. Willow Wilson, Sana Amanat, Stephen Wacker, and Adrian Alphona in the comics, Kamala has a relatively unique set of superpowers. While Kamala Khan's powers in the comics consist of stretching, shrinking and growing, the trailer shows the new hero shooting purple cosmic energy beams, forming shields, manifesting a giant fist in a nod to her comic book counterpart and the kind of midair stepping stones previously seen in Doctor Strange films.

The actor-musician will be a part of the series which introduces Iman Vellani and also includes names like Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, Fawad Khan, Travina Springer and Nimra Bucha.

On home turf, Farhan Akhtar is helming Jee Le Zaraa starring Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.

Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker has filed an FIR after she received a death threat at her Mumbai residence. The letter was sent to her house in Versova. After her complaint, Mumbai Police have begun the probe.

The letter was written in Hindi which says that the youth of India won't tolerate insults against Veer Savarkar. She posted a photo of the letter on her Instagram and wrote in Hindi, “देश के नौजवान तो ख़ैर सड़कों पर नौकरी की माँग कर रहे हैं.. पर एक प्रजाति महंगाई, बेरोज़गारी, भुखमरी सब सहेगी.. बस ऐतिहासिक सच और तथ्य नहीं सहेगी! इतना रोश - पर नम्बर रेवारी में बैठे किसी चाचा का डाला है भाई ने!”

Vaani Kapoor is set to sizzle on the big screen again in Shamshera in which she has been paired opposite Ranbir Kapoor. She will be seen in a drop-dead gorgeous avatar in Shamshera in which she plays the role of the most coveted traveling performer in India. Vaani says she is thrilled to collaborate with Ranbir, director Karan Malhotra, who she feels is a visionary storyteller, and Sanjay Dutt, who will give audiences ‘a villain for the ages in Hindi cinema’.

 

 

 

Vaani says, “Shamshera is a dream project for me. To be directed by someone like Karan Malhotra, who is a visionary storyteller, is an opportunity that no actor would ever miss out on. I’m fortunate that he felt I was apt for the part. Karan is obsessed with his craft and the story that he is trying to tell. About working with Sanjay Dutt, she says, “I got an opportunity to work with Sanjay Dutt and I have been a big fan of his over the years. I loved him in Agneepath. You have to wait and watch out for him in Shamshera because he is again going to give us a villain for the ages in Hindi cinema. He is just menacing and cunning and pure evil.”

She adds, “Shamshera is a film I will always cherish. It has given me memories that will last a lifetime as an actor. The entire crew has worked incredibly hard to bring this film to life and I hope that people love the effort that everyone has put in.”

One of the greatest murder mysteries of Bollywood, Gupt, completes 25 years on July 4. Released in 1997, the film starring Bobby Deol, Manisha Koirala and Kajol was a super-hit due to the whodunit element, tight script, performances and of course, the unforgettable soundtrack. In short, Gupt is a landmark film in Bollywood. And when such an important film turns 25, the celebrations have to be there.

Bollywood Hungama has learnt that a special screening of the film will be held in Mumbai to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Popular radio station, Radio Nasha, has taken the initiative to organize the screening on Saturday, July 9, at Metro INOX Cinemas in South Mumbai. Interestingly, several members of the cast and crew will attend this show – lead actors Bobby Deol, Manisha Koirala and Kajol, director Rajiv Rai, writer and production designer Shabbir Boxwala, music director Viju Shah, etc. Fans will also get a chance to win tickets to this screening, and thus be a part of this unforgettable event.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Gupt has achieved cult status. It had worked big time in cinemas. Those who had seen it on the big screen would get a chance to once again see the film in a cinema hall. Many are huge fans of the film and songs but they were born after the release of the film or were too young when it had released in theatres. They’ll get to experience the magic of the film in all its glory. Also, the actors and other team members would share trivia about the film and that’ll be an icing on the cake.”

When contacted, Shabbir Boxwala exclusively told Bollywood Hungama, “The way Radio Nasha is planning it, I am very thrilled. At the time of the release, we couldn’t enjoy the success, due to certain reasons. We can finally enjoy the film’s success now. I told the same thing to Rajiv as well, that let’s enjoy it now. God has given us a chance (laughs)!”

He also said that “All the actors are also excited for the screening, including Mukesh Rishi and Dalip Tahil. Unfortunately, some cast members are no more, like Om Puri. He was a vital part of the film. Even Ashok ji (cinematographer Ashok Mehta). I’ll miss him the most.”

Radio Nasha has held several such screenings of significant films in the past. One of their most memorable events was the screening of Hum Aapke Hain Koun (1994), on its 25th anniversary. It was held on August 9, 2019, at Mumbai’s Liberty cinema. Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, director Sooraj Barjatya and many others had graced the screening. The way the lead actors danced and the way the cast and crew went down memory lane made it a very exciting occasion.

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt, earlier this week, announced her pregnancy which took social media by storm. She and her Brahmastra co-star Ranbir Kapoor got married in April 2022. Their next film Brahmastra is releasing in September 2022.

From India, Suriya and Kajol are among the 397 people that have been invited to become members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Director-writer Reema Kagti, producer Aditya Sood and documentary filmmakers Sushmit Ghosh and Rintu Thomas are also included in the list. International stars including Anya Taylor-Joy, Billie Eilish, Jamie Dornan, Dana Walden, and Leonard Maltin have been invited as well among others. According to Variety, "The 2022 class is 44% women, 37% belong to underrepresented ethnic/racial communities, and 50% are from 53 countries and territories outside the United States."

A selection of this year's invitees includes Michael Greyeyes (Wild Indian) to the Actors branch, Elodie Demey (Summer of 85) to Casting Directors, Martin Ruhe (The Tender Bar) to Cinematographers, Paul Tazewell (West Side Story) to Costume Designers, Andrew Ahn (Fire Island) to Directors, and Rintu Thomas and Sushmit Ghosh (Writing With Fire) to Documentary.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, who tied the knot on April 14, shared the arrival of their baby followed by which everyone including Karan Johar had expressed their happiness, saying, “To me, Alia is equal to my twins Roohi and Yash. The twins know Alia as their elder sister. Now they know that there is going to be an addition in the family,” says Karan.”

Rashtra Kavach Om which opens this Friday and which was earlier titled Om The Battle Within has its director Kapil Verma somewhat tense and worried. “Yes, there is definitely a bit of nervousness and stress regarding recent films not doing well at the box office for the last few months. But our USP is that we have made a good film, or so we believe, and that is about the best we can do,” says Verma.

Verma is confident in the action sequences. “If I may say so myself Aditya Roy Kapur has done some great action, he is seen in a totally unexpected avatar. Then there is a Sanjana Sanghi in the film. She was earlier seen in an emotional role in Dil Bechara. She plays a RAW agent in my film. She too has done a lot of action scenes. The pair is fresh and Aditya and Sanjana are seen doing things, they have never done previously. But what I am most confident about is the story. It is a strong subject and one that I feel will draw in the audience,” says Verma.

Action films like Pushpa, KGF, and RRR have done well and these successes boost Kapil’s energy. “Yes, different kinds of action films have been released. Not all of them have worked at the box office. It all depends on what kind of action is being projected on screen. In our film, we don’t have Aditya Roy Kapur just hitting and killing people. Every action sequence is supported by the plot and backed by emotions. The action is therefore not gratuitous. The audience will feel Aditya Roy Kapur’s pain and the action scenes are organic to the plot. They take the story forward and are not there just for the heck of it.”

About Rashtra Kavach Om releasing alongside Madhavan’s Rocketry Kapil says, “I love the trailer of Rocketry. But it is an entirely different genre and a completely different experience. It is a film by and starring Madhavan who is a great artist. But like I said ours is a completely different film. Our film is a hard-core massy film. But we never know what the audience will like or won’t like, especially nowadays.”

Kapil is all praise for his producer Ahmed Khan. “Ahmed Sir is a terrific producer, and I can’t thank him enough for giving me this huge opportunity to direct my own film. He told me, ‘Jao apni film banao and don’t take any stress.’ He has stood by me as a pillar of strength and I hope to collaborate with him again.”

Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor will be seen together for the first time in the Nitesh Tiwari directorial Bawaal. The onscreen couple has already started shooting for it. While not much is revealed about the film, in a recent exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Varun spoke about his bonding with his onscreen co-star and how she helped him save his life when he was unwell.

Varun Dhawan, who was recently seen promoting the multi-starrer Jugjugg Jeeyo, spoke to Bollywood Hungama about shooting for Bawaal and his experience of working with Janhvi Kapoor for the first time. Reminiscing about the time she took care of him when he was unwell, Varun said, “She is really a sweetheart. Meri tabiyyat thodi kharab ho gayi thi wahan pe, tab ussine mera khayal rakha do din, genuinely. Soup wagaira sab mangaya usne. Ek jagah gaye the tabhi jahan khana nahi mil raha tha, Janhvi ne aise haath jode aur usne khana dilaya mujhe. Main bas usse shock mein dekh raha tha.” (Transl: I was unwell when we were shooting there and she has taken care of me for two days. She called for soup and all for me. In fact, we had been to a place where they were not serving food and she folded her hands and requested them to give me food and she did it. I was just looking at her in complete shock.)

He went on describe his co-star adding, “She comes across as such a shy person. She is also very shy as a person. Lekin woh jab khulti hai, toh she is like a patakha. (Transl: When she opens up, she is like a firecracker)”

In the same interview, Varun Dhawan had also expressed his keen interest in working with Janhvi’s brother and co-actor Arjun Kapoor.

Speaking of Bawaal, the film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and it is slated to release on April 7, 2023.

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez appeared before Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday after fresh summons were initiated against her. The actress was reportedly grilled for 8 hours by ED in the conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar case. Jacqueline Fernandez flew to the capital to record her statement after the ED issued summons for a new round of questioning.

The actress was accused of having a connection with the infamous conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar and it was alleged that about Rs. 7.27 crores of funds were seized from the actress in the name of proceeds of crime. The actress has been previously questioned thrice in the same case under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

According to a report in News 18 earlier, a fixed deposit worth Rs. 7.12 crore has been attached to Jacqueline Fernandez' name. Infact, the ED estimated that Sukesh gifted gifts "worth Rs 5.71 crore to Jacqueline using the extortion money. It is also said that Sukesh gave funds close to $173,000 and around 27,000 Australian dollars to a few close members of Jacqueline’s family."

In Sukesh Chandrasekhar’s statement recorded under Section 50 of the PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act), Sukesh had said that he gave as many as 15 pairs of earrings, five Birkin bags, and other luxury goods from Chanel, Gucci to the actor. The conman also claimed that he gifted Jacqueline Fernandez Cartier bangles and rings and a bracelet by Tiffany & Co. in addition to Rolex watches. He also gave Jacqueline Fernandez jewellery worth Rs 7 crore and gifted her a horse called 'Espuelah'.

In addition, Sukesh Chandrashekhar also extended a loan of USD 150,000 to Jacqueline Fernandez's sister, who lives in the US. He also gave her a BMW X5 car and gifted Jacqueline Fernandez's parents a Maserati and her mother in Bahrain a Porsche. He also extended a loan of USD 50,000 to her brother in Australia.

In its charge sheet, the Delhi Police has accused Sukesh Chandrasekhar and 13 others of duping the wife of the former promoter of Ranbaxy to the tune of Rs 200 crore. Officials believe Chandrasekhar extorted Rs. 200 crore from the complainant by claiming that he would facilitate her husband's release from prison.

Earlier in June 2022, Red Chillies Entertainment announced Jawan, a massive action entertainer, starring the megastar Shah Rukh Khan and helmed by director Atlee Kumar. The actor had also shared the first teaser and poster of the film which created quite an uproar amongst fans. The film stars Nayanthara in the lead role opposite SRK and will likely have a cameo from Deepika Padukone.

Now, Nayanthara has joined Shah Rukh Khan on the new schedule of Jawan after returning from her honeymoon with Vignesh Shivan. The schedule will be till mid-July. The actress had taken a break for her wedding and now is back to work to fulfill her work commitments.

Recently, while talking about Pathaan on his Instagram live, Shah Rukh Khan said, “Too early to say. There is still a long way to go. There is not much I can tell you about Jawan except the fact that I am having a great time as an actor. And Atlee, the director, it is a different kind of film. Everybody has seen his work. He makes outstanding mass-oriented films, again a genre I have never done. So, I wanted to try my hands on it. And I think me and Atlee have good chemistry. I bring in some (to the film), and he brings in some. Whatever we have done of Jawan is thrilling and exciting."

Red Chillies Entertainment presents Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead and produced by Gauri Khan. Jawan will be released on 2nd June 2023 in five languages making it Shah Rukh Khan’s first Pan India film.

With Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan is set to treat the audiences and his fans with three films next year, namely, Dunki, Pathaan & now Jawan.

Followed by the same, when Varun was asked to respond to this Kapoor boy’s wish, the former replied that while he is ready with his dates, it is Arjun who seems to be the busy bee. In his quirky manner, Varun said, “Main unke saath 100% film karna chahta hoon par woh mujhe dates nahi de rahe. Isiliye maine Anil Kapoor ke saath film kar liya. Referring to the popular hashtag on social media,#Varjun, Varun asserted that they will do a film soon. He added,  “We definitely want to work together and in fact humne Anees Sir ko bhi kahan hai ki humare saath ek film karein. (I have even spoken to Anees Sir asking him if he can do a film with us). Definitely we will work together. Waise Arjun is also looking so fit and good. He is getting a lot of female attention.”

Speaking of Jugjugg Jeeyo, the film also stars Kiara Advani and Neetu Kapoor along with Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli. Directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions, the film released on June 24.

Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films greenlights six new films starring Akshay Kumar, Tabu, Shraddha Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor and others! https://ift.tt/1MYoxHk

Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films is getting back into action with full force post the pandemic. Bollywood Hungama has exclusively learnt that Dinesh Vijan has greenlit as many as six new films in a range of genres for 2022–23 release. All these yet unannounced movies will be content-driven dramas made on tight budgets and will star actors such as John Abraham, Shraddha Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor, Yami Gautam, and Ayushmann Khurrana among others.

Revealing the lucrative lineup of Maddock Films, a source close to the development informed Bollywood Hungama, “Dinesh Vijan is scaling up his production lineup and has planned to roll at least six new films this year. This is in addition to his already announced films such as Bhediya, Tehran, and the yet-untitled Laxman Utekar film with Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan. There’s so much going on at Maddock Films right now, and the energy level out there is at an all-time high. You’ll soon hear multiple announcements coming out of Maddock Films, and mind you, it’s all very exciting."

The sources revealed that the company has already started shooting for two new films. One is the recently announced as Sector 36, a crime-thriller based on the Nithari serial murder that stars Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal in the lead, while the other is a female-oriented story that features Huma Qureshi and one more young actress. Come next month and John Abraham’s geo-political thriller Tehran will also start filming in the United Kingdom, eyeing a release in the first quarter of 2023. Vijan has also signed Vaani Kapoor for a social-comedy film, titled Sarvagunn Sampanna, which will see her playing a porn star look-alike fighting for her integrity in society. The Shonali Rattan Deshmukh-directed film will begin production in August.

Dinesh Vijan has then lined up a thriller film, titled Teacher’s Day, with Tabu headlining the cast. Mikhil Musale, who made his Bollywood debut with Vijan’s Rajkummar Rao-starrer Made in China, is directing this film that sees the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actress playing the role of a teacher for the first time in her three-decade career. The film will begin production in mid-August in Pune, and Vijan will begin work on the highly anticipated Stree prequel soon after. Shraddha Kapoor returns to tell the backstory of the girl who came to Stree and the complications she brought along, in this new part, titled Munjha. Marathi filmmaker Aditya Sarpotdar will direct this new film in Vijan’s horror-comedy cinematic universe.

These confirmed projects aside, Dinesh Vijan is working on several more films and is in talks with actors such as Ayushmann Khurrana, Aditya Roy Kapur, Rakul Preet, Kiara Advani, Pooja Hegde, and Tara Sutaria, among others. The producer has also signed Akshay Kumar for an action-based thrilling drama set against the backdrop of the Indian Air Force, which will go on floors in the first quarter of next year. They are also doing a comedy-thriller with Yami Gautam and Sunny Kaushal, which is shot and ready and will soon be released on an OTT platform. Laxman Utekar is also directing one more film for the banner, however, the details of that are not known as yet. They are also working on the adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s best-selling novel, Club You to Death.

In addition to all these feature films, Maddock Films has also lined up two web series for the coming year. While the Amazon Prime series, Jee Karda is a coming-of-age show that delves into the lives of a close-knit group of seven childhood friends, trying to steer their way through adulthood, and stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Aashim Gulati, Anya Singh, and Hussain Dalal in the lead, its Disney+ Hotstar series Saas Bahu Aur Cocaine which is a crime-thriller revolving around women working in the drug business. Radhika Madan and Dimple Kapadia play the leads in this Homi Adajania-directed show.
