While she had been aware of it previously, what matters most to her now is that she can openly discuss her involvement in Shah Rukh Khan's film, Jawan. During a recent interview the actress candidly expressed her joy about her dream coming true and how she used to skilfully avoid inquiries regarding Jawan until an official confirmation was made. When asked about the wrap of the film, Sanya told film critic Sucharita Tyagi, “Ho gaya hai (it is done). And I am a part of it. And the fact that I can talk about it, mai toh uski baat karne mein hi itni khush hun (I am just happy that I am finally being able to talk about it)” and started laughing. She further added, “Now, finally I am able to tell people, kyunki uss se pehle toh log puchte, ‘Are you a part of Jawan?' and main itni kharab answer deti thi, like ‘I hope I get to work with Shah Rukh Khan,' I was dodging these questions horribly.”

Sanya Malhotra reminisced about the moment her manager gave her the green light to share the news about Jawan on social media. “I got to post about it. It was a Sunday when I posted that and I got a call from my manager saying, ‘Sanya, there is a creative coming in and we need to post about Jawan.' I said ‘We need to post about Jawan? Are you sure this information is right?' I was so happy because this was right before Kathal was released and I was giving interviews and I was asked this question frequently. And I just didn't know how to not look stupid while answering those questions. But luckily, they announced it right before Kathal.”

Directed by Atlee Kumar and also starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, Jawan was earlier supposed to release in June this year. But, earlier this month, the makers of the Red Chillies production postponed the film to September 7 as they needed more time to work on the VFX of the film.

Rani says, “As an actor, your vision for cinema and roles will constantly evolve but one thing that’s constantly stayed for me is the way I wanted to portray and represent women on screen. Women are the backbone of a family and society and I think, as an actor, I have a responsibility to show this to as many people as possible across my country and the world.“

She adds, “Cinema can have a lasting impression on the minds of people. It is a very powerful tool to trigger a national conversation and I became conscious very early on in my career that I could make a real change in the way women are projected on-screen, that could be positive.”

Rani wanted to show girls as fiercely independent and self-reliant in films. But knows how to get the performances he wants from his cast,” said the veteran star.

Why did it take so long for Dharmendra to work with Karan Johar? “Dekho, jab jo hone ko hota hai tabhi woh hota hai (look, things happen when they are destined to). Shabana Azmi and I were to work together in a film entitled Bichhoo (in 1982) which Sai Paranjpye was to direct. We did the mahurat and shooting was about to start. For some reasons, it never got made. And now here we are, working together,” he said.

Dharmendra is all praise for both his iconic co-stars. “Shabana is a great artiste, the world knows it. I worked with Jaya (Bachchan) in her first film Guddi where she played my fan. Now working with her again, I feel I am her fan,” he added.

Zee TV’s Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, which is a romantic drama based in modern-day Vrindavan, has been an audience favourite since its launch last year. With an engaging storyline, dramatic twists and turns as well as relatable characters such as Mohan (Shabir Ahluwalia), Radha (Neeharika Roy), Damini (Sambhabana Mohanty), and Tulsi (Kirti Nagpure), the show has kept the viewers on the edge of their seats. In the recent episodes, viewers witnessed that Radha is stuck in the cold freezer and her life is hanging by a thread.  

Although Mohan and Trivedi's family is trying to trace Radha’s location, Damini and her mother are doing everything in their power to stop them. While Damini is close to her mission to be successful, Sambhabana is struggling between managing her shoot and studies on the personal front. When an actor does a show, it’s not easy for him or her to take out time for any other time-consuming task. However, Sambhabana is studying for a PhD in Sociology from Sambalpur University, in Odisha. She is doing distance learning, as well as managing her shoot every day for the show. 

Sambhabana Mohanty mentioned, “Even though my mother is an actress from the Odisha film industry, and my father is a music album director, I still have an inclination towards studies. After completing my graduation, I worked in a few Hindi and Odia television serials and after that decided to pursue my studies and enrol myself for a PhD in Sociology. But clearly, life had a different plan for me. Soon after signing up for the course, I got the offer to play Damini in Pyaar ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, and without any second thought, I took up the opportunity.  It is not easy to juggle between the two, I really have to take out time from the busy shoot schedule, but the professors and my production team are very supportive. So, I am able to manage both things after all, and I hope I clear my exams with flying colours.” 

While Sambhabana is managing her shoot along with her studies, it will be interesting for the viewers to watch how Radha will come out of the freezing room? Will Mohan be able to rescue her within the right frame of time? Or will he lose her forever?

For the unversed, the film was earlier titled as Satyanarayan Ki Katha, which translates to The Story of Satyanarayan, another name for the Hindu god Vishnu, which caused controversy. The title change was announced in a statement by director Sameer Vidwans in 2021.

Kartik re-posted the comment on his official Instagram account, stating that the title would be modified to avoid offending anyone. “A title of the film is something that emerges organically through the creative process. We have taken a decision to change the title of our recently announced film Satyanarayan Ki Katha to avoid hurting sentiments, even if that's purely unintentional. Producers of the film and the creative team also are in complete support of this decision. We will be announcing a new title for our love story in the due course of our journey. Sincerely, Sameer Vidwans,” the statement read.

Satyaprem Ki Katha also marked a massive collaboration between NGE and Namah Pictures. Interestingly, Sajid Nadiadwala and Shareen Mantri Kedia with Kishor Arora & director Sameer Vidwans won a National Award for their respective feature films Chhichhore and Anandi Gopal. Satyaprem Ki Katha is slated to hit theatres on June 29, 2023.

In a recent interview Gulshan Devaiah discussed his experience of working with renowned filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He candidly expressed that working with Bhansali could become tedious if one lacks the necessary patience. Gulshan had the opportunity to collaborate with the veteran filmmaker in the 2013 film Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ramleela which featured Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in lead.

During a recent interview with Amar Ujala, Gulshan shared his thoughts on collaborating with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He said, “If you do not have the patience, aapka dimag pak jaega (you may get bored). He takes his work very seriously and is very dedicated to his work. He expects complete dedication and submission from others as well, but it is impossible for most.”

He further added, “That hampers the balance. People are also afraid of him. I gathered the courage to talk to him and would often sit with him in front of the monitor to watch his style of work. People are scared of him, so they do not enjoy working with him. I would often talk to him fearlessly, and he liked this aspect of mine.”

Gulshan Devaiah has been actively involved in various projects on the work front. He was recently seen in the web series titled Dahaad, which features an ensemble cast including Sonakshi Sinha and Vijay Varma. The series is currently streaming on Prime Video, entertaining audiences with its compelling storyline. His film 8 AM Metro also released this month. Furthermore, Gulshan is gearing up for his upcoming venture, the Sudhanshu Saria directorial Ulajh. This film boasts an impressive cast including Janhvi Kapoor, Rajesh Tailang, Sachin Khedekar, Roshan Matthews, and Meiyang Chang. Set to commence filming at the end of May, Ulajh promises to captivate viewers with its unique narrative and the talented ensemble bringing their characters to life on screen. IIFA Awards 2023 was held in Yas Island, Dubai and it was indeed a star-studded evening filled with glitz, glamour, and remarkable talent. Among the rising stars who owned the stage was Babil Khan, who seems to have left the critics impressed with his stellar performance in the movie Qala, co-starring Triptii Dimri. Babil's portrayal of Jagan in the film garnered him the prestigious award for Best Debut Actor (Male) at IIFA 2023.

Expressing his gratitude towards his latest victory, Babil said, "You debut only once and to be acknowledged for that is absolutely motivating. I will strive harder and wish harder. I am banking on everyone's love and blessing now to win the best actor for IIFA in the future."

Qala, directed by Anvitaa Dutt, showcased Babil Khan in the role of an orphan with a mesmerizing voice, who aspires to be one of the greatest singers of his generation. The film is a psychological drama which features Swastika Mukherjee as a bygone singer Urmila, who is keen on finding her perfect protégé but is never satisfied with the performance of his daughter Qala aka Tripti Dimrii. While Qala continues to yearn for her mother’s affection and a chance to make it big in the industry, she is pushed to the edge when Urmila finds everything including her long-lost son in Jagan. The film released on Netflix.

Talking about his upcoming projects, Babil has just finished shooting a film and he will next be seen in YRF web show The Railway Men.

Last week, Kareena Kapoor Khan had joined the team of her upcoming film The Crew, which included co-actress Kriti Sanon and Tabu in Goa. The trio will be coming together for the first time in this Rhea Kapoor production, which is also expected to co-star Diljit Dosanjh. EXCLUSIVE: Gulshan Devaiah celebrates his birthday amid success of Dahaad, “My ex-wife, who is my best friend, has booked a table at an expensive restaurant” https://ift.tt/iw2sVGm

The month of May is special for Gulshan Devaiah. Apart from it being his birthday, his two projects – his web series Dahaad and movie 8 AM Metro – released in this month. “This month has been special for me. Dahaad became a hit and my film 8 AM Metro was released in theatres. Although only a few people saw it, they have liked it. My work has been appreciated in it. Birthday months are lucky months,” he said in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama.

Devaiah completes 45 today but he tells us that he doesn’t quite like celebrating. “I wish to do nothing, but people don’t let you do that,” he said. “Friends will make some plan. Chalti nahin hai aapki marzi. My ex-wife (Kalliroi Tziafeta) is my best friend. She has somehow managed to book a table in an expensive restaurant.”

Directed by Reema Kagti and Ruckika Oberoi and streamed on Amazon Prime Video, Dahaad is a gritty crime drama taking place in the interiors of Rajasthan, where nobody generally shoots. Devaiah said that the biggest challenge for the team was the cold weather.

“We didn’t feel that we were shooting at a place where nobody shoots,” said the actor. “Shooting in the cold was challenging. We were given summer uniforms, but we were shooting in the winter. Other than this, there was no other challenge. It was a very good team and we enjoyed.”

Dahaad stars Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role of a sub-inspector. Devaiah, who plays her senior, had a lot of scenes with her. “We used to do a lot of time pass and chat,” he said. “We used to play volleyball and badminton. We got a good chance of knowing each other. We developed a good friendship. It helps when you are working with someone you are comfortable with. She lives a very active lifestyle. She likes sports.”

Devaiah’s character Devilal Singh is usually calm but there is one scene in the ending portions where he loses his cool and screams at his wife in a moment of conflict. Recalling that moment, Devaiah said, “It will burst out at some point. I don’t exactly remember if it was in the script or we improvised. If a person is always keeping calm in tough situations, the anger and frustration will eventually come out in some way on someone; he is a human after all. He also blurts out to his wife that she is backward.”

Actor and filmmaker Satish Kaushik passed away due to a heart attack on March 9 in Delhi where he was attending a Holi festival event. His last rites were performed in Mumbai after his body was brought back from Delhi. As the industry mourned the tragic passing of the celebrated actor, a recent event saw the presence of many celebrated stars including Anil Kapoor, and Anupam Kher among others who gathered on Kaushik’s birth anniversary. Recently, Anupam Kher took time out of his busy schedule and dined out with Satish’s 10-year-old daughter Vanshika at a restaurant in Mumbai.

On Saturday, Vanshika Kaushik took to Instagram to share a video of their lunch outing. She wrote in caption, “Papa and I came often to Marriott for breakfasts and lunch’s . Wonderful to repeat the routine with my favourite Anupam uncle. And how can we not make a reel together . Bullet for u with the one and only #Anupam Kher.”

Anupam Kher and late actor Satish Kaushik were National School of Drama (NSD) graduates and they had been friends since then.

Satish Kaushik and his wife Shashi Kaushik married in 1985. The couple had a son Sanu Kaushik who passed away in 1996. The couple welcomed their second child Vanshika, who was born through a surrogate in 2012.

Meanwhile on the professional front, Anupam Kher was last seen in IB 71. The actor has many interesting projects lined up in his pipeline including Vijay 69, he has started working on The Vaccine War as well. This is his third collaboration with director Vivek Agnihotri after Buddha In A Traffic Jam and last year's blockbuster The Kashmir Files. The actor also has Kangana Ranaut's directorial Emergency. Lalit Pandit gets emotional; says, “Fanaa was the last film Jatin & I composed together,” https://ift.tt/hGtHjv2

The last film that Jatin-Lalit did together was Kunal Kohli’s Fanaa. Says Lalit emotionally, “The movie completed seventeen years today and it was just about sixteen years that Jatin and I worked together before we split in 2006. I look at Fanaa from a very special point of view and hold that film very close to my heart to tell the truth, we had split while the music of Fanaa was still work in progress. I had gone and met Adi and told him Jatin and Lalit will not be working together after this film.

Lalit says Fanaa producer Aditya Chopra tried to convince the brothers against the split. Adi was very upset, and he did call Jatin and me both to his place, spoke to us and advised that it was a terrible decision which was of course anticipated and understood by both of us. For about two years prior to this I was getting signs that us being together wouldn’t last long and it was terribly stressful.”

Remembering the split Lalit gets upset. “I wouldn’t like to elaborate further except, that since it was to be the last film, we would work together I wanted to give all I had to make this a score which would be remembered always. During the recordings itself Jatin had stopped coming to the studio gradually after his only song in the film Des Rangila got recorded. I, with the rest of the team and director Kunal Kohli kept working on the rest of the songs and we worked really hard to achieve the quality that eventually emerged in Fanaa’s music.”

However, despite the split the show went on for Lalit. “The good thing was the studio was always available for me since it was a YRF home production. Incidentally Fanaa was also the first film that was recorded in the new YRF studio, and no one was really sure how the sound would be. It did take months of studio work for me to finalise the mixes of all the songs. I had it in my heart that since this was to be the last film of a big brand name Jatin-Lalit’s last musical score it would have to be the best score of the year.”

Eventually Fanaa did get nominated for best score and for the song ‘Chand Sifarish’, it won all the awards that year for Shaan as best singer.

Recalls Lalit, “When the best music award went to A R Rehman in his speech, he did say he was sad to know that Jatin and Lalit wouldn’t be working together again, that was sweet of him. When the final day of the mix was finished and Adi was supposed to hear the final product, we met in the evening and heard all the songs together. Everything sounded good and when Adi and I were going down from the recording studio he asked me, “Kya lagta hai music ka??” I told him, “Ye dil se nikla hai aur logon ke dil tak pahunchega.” . As time flew by, the music of Fanaa was a huge success and Adi called me and said, “Guess what? Fanaa is the highest selling music for YRF”. It was so good to hear that I will never forget it. Bhagwan ne hamari izzat Rakh li! My brother and I are perhaps the only musical jodi that ended our carrier right at its peak.”

Is there a possibility of Jatin-Lalit getting together again? “I always feel very humble and apologetic towards people who have enjoyed our music and kept asking us to get back together. I deeply apologise to them all and appreciate all the respect and love they have shown over the years to us and our music, and still do. Fanaa will always be very close to my heart always.”

A couple of days ago, the Indian entertainment industry woke up to the shocking news of the demise of young actress Vaibhavi Upadhyaya. The actress, known for her performance in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai Season 2 as Jasmine, was exploring Himachal Pradesh with her fiancé Jay Gandhi when her vehicle was expected to be hit by a truck. Followed by this, some claimed that the couple was not wearing seat belts but Jay, who is recovering from the sustained injuries during the accident, clarified on the same.

Recalling the incident, Jay Gandhi asserted that a truck hit their car and Vaibhavi Upadhyaya was thrown off the vehicle. She reportedly sustained several head injuries and that even though, she received help from the locals, by the time they reached the hospital it was too late for the actress. Jay told ETimes, “There is a notion that you speed on road trips, but that was not the case. Our car was standing still and waiting for the truck to pass. I am not in a state to talk much, but I wanted to ensure that people don’t assume that we were not wearing seat belts or were speeding.”

In the same interview, Jay’s statement was corroborated by Vaibhavi’s brother Ankit Upadhyaya as he continued, "She was always cautious and would never sit in a car without a seat belt. So, on a road trip, she would be extra cautious. The doctors also confirmed how there were seat belt marks around her neck. It is sad that we were thinking of planning her marriage, but now she is gone.”

JD Majethia who has worked with Vaibhavi Upadhyaya had revealed about the actress not wearing a seatbelt when he attended her funeral and along with him, one of the police officials in charge had also mentioned about it.

EXCLUSIVE: Taran Adarsh says he has a lot of hope and expectations from Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh as the next superstars https://ift.tt/7EApeKy

2023, has been a rather mixed year for the film industry, with certain big-ticket entertainers floundering at the box office. However, despite the turmoil, there have been films line Pathaan that stood out at the box office. Another interesting aspect of the year so far has been that certain celebrities are receiving much appreciation at the box office. But what does the future hold, and who from the current roaster of big names will eventually be the next superstar is the question. Answering exactly that was trade analyst Taran Adarsh who is hedging his bet on Ranbir Kapoor.

In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Taran says he has a lot of expectations from both Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. “I have a lot of hopes and expectations from Ranbir Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh. Let’s see over a period of time. But who knows a new star could come from anywhere and leave all of these names behind. So never take stardom for granted.”

Further detailing his opinion of why Ranbir and Ranveer lead his list of being the next big superstar Taran continues, “I genuinely feel that Ranbir Kapoor has the potential to be there on the throne, look at his choices, he worked with Luv Ranjan who has a different take on romantic films. Now his next film is with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal, which is a very different film. I am sure it is going to be a dynamic combination. It is my personal opinion; this can be a very big film if the director gets it right. I have always said you can find 10 mistakes in a Ranbir Kapoor film, but it will never be Ranbir's acting that is at fault.”

Talking about Ranveer Singh, Taran continues, “Ranveer Singh is there, he can work magic in certain kind of roles. Padmaavat, Ram Leela, and Bajirao Mastani, where he has worked with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, when you work with such directors it automatically brings out your best. And I think in today's times I am looking to see what he does with Karan Johar. But I genuinely hope that he also bounces back.”

“Even Sachin cannot hit a six on every ball. But I somewhere genuinely feel that there is more to Ranveer Singh than doing a Cirkus, as was evident in Padmaavat or Ram Leela or any other film he has done in the past. He is a committed actor, he is a good actor, and it is a question of one good Friday and one good script that can take him to the top. At the moment, maybe Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh are neck to neck. But right now I place my bets on Ranbir Kapoor. To me he is the next superstar”, says Taran on a concluding note.

Imlie actor Karan Vohra, who is currently essaying the role of Atharva Rana and former husband of Imlie Rana, is all set to become a father in real life. Moreover, in a recent post, the actor revealed that he and his wife Bella are all set to welcome twins. Karan Vohra entered Imlie after the major leap wherein Megha Chakraborthy was roped in to play Jr. Imlie, who is the daughter of Imlie (Sumbul Touqeer) and Aryan (Fahmaan Khan).

Karan Vohra, who generally shares sneak peek into the world of his ongoing popular show Imlie on Star Plus, posted a glimpse of his personal life recently. He took to the platform to share a video comprising of montages of the baby shower celebrations which were held in Delhi. From the peach themed décor to the invite for the shower, the video featured several glimpses of the shower including a backdrop for cake cutting which read, ‘Vohra Babies’, and a board which said, ‘Oh Baby! Oh Baby! What else can we say? We have babies on the way’, which further confirmed the speculations that the couple is having twins.

Sharing the video on Instagram, Karan captioned it saying, “Just before the shower”. Megha Chakraborty, who essays the role of his onscreen wife Imlie, also dropped a comment on the post, and called it ‘Cute’.

In a recent statement, Karan Vohra revealed that the baby shower was supposed to be held last month but got delayed because of his hectic schedule. In a report with ETimes, Karan confessed that he wanted to get his wife and children to Mumbai, two months after the delivery. He said, "I want to cherish every moment of their growing up years. I am very excited about seeing Bella's happiness. We stay connected virtually and she keeps updating me about the babies. At times, I feel helpless because I can't be with her to see them growing and kicking. I can't wait to see and hold them."

Movie Review: Jogira Sara Ra Ra JOGIRA SARA RA RA is a decent attempt and had the potential to be an entertainer. https://ift.tt/7EApeKy

JOGIRA SARA RA RA is the story of a wedding planner in jeopardy. Jogi Pratap (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) lives in Lucknow and works as a wedding planner for a company named ‘Shaandaar Events’. His family comprises of his mother (Zarina Wahab), sister Sarita (Suman Patel), his aunt and a few other sisters. He’s frustrated living with them. He feels that if he gets married, it would mean having one more woman in his family, which according to him will be catastrophic. As a result, he decides to never get hitched. One day, Devki Nandan Chaubey (Bhagwan Tiwari) hires the services of Jogi for the marriage of his daughter Dimple (Neha Sharma) with Lallu Pandey (Mahaakshay Chakraborty). Dimple doesn’t want to get married and she asks Jogi to help break off the marriage. Jogi comes up with various smart ideas, all of which backfire. Finally, he fakes Dimple’s kidnapping. He befriends Lallu and poisons his mind that marrying a girl, who has been kidnapped, is looked down upon in society. Lallu decides to hence break off the wedding. Dimple is overjoyed. All is going until one day, things go awry and Jogi is forced to tie the knot with Dimple. What happens next forms the rest of the film.

Ghalib Asad Bhopali's story is fun-filled and in the feel-good zone of films like BAREILLY KI BARFI [2017], SHUBH MANGAL SAAVDHAAN [2017], TANU WEDS MANU [2011] etc. Ghalib Asad Bhopali's screenplay is okay till a certain point but later on, it goes haywire. Ghalib Asad Bhopali's dialogues are brilliant and are sure to raise laughs.

Kushan Nandy's direction is fair. He has handled several moments with panache like Lallu dancing to Mithun Chakraborty’s songs, Jogi’s fight with his sister and then trying to make amends, Chacha Chaudhary (Sanjay Mishra)’s carrom game moment etc.

On the flipside, while the first half is funny and to the point, things happen at random in the second half. Jogi pretending to be suffering from a sexually transmitted disease is a great plot point but the makers don’t give it a logical conclusion. The same happens with the pregnancy, jailbreak and kidnapping tracks. The Priyadarshan-style climax doesn’t make the desired impact either.

Speaking of performances, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is in his element. His comic timing is spot-on. It’s also refreshing to see him in such a light-hearted film for a change. Neha Sharma has a fine screen presence but one wishes her rebellious character had more to do, especially in the second half. Mahaakshay Chakraborty is adorable and unrecognizable. Sanjay Mishra raises laughs. Zarina Wahab is dependable. Suman Patel and Rohit Chaudhary (Manu) do well. Bhagwan Tiwari, Shubhrajyoti Barat (Dimple's mama), Vishwanath Chatterjee (Inspector Yadav), Ghanshyam Garg (SI Yadav) and Hemant Pandey (Bittu) are fair. The late Farrukh Jaffar is cute. Nikki Tamboli fails to add to the sizzle in the item song.

Songs are catchy. 'Torture', played in the beginning, is foot-tapping. 'Babua' is well choreographed and shot. 'Cocktail' is okay. Anup Bhat's background score is in sync with the quirky feel of the film.

Sourabh Waghmare's cinematography is neat. Shadab Malik's costumes for Nawazuddin Siddiqui are stylish. Malvika Bajaj's costumes for the rest are real while those of Neha Sharma are glamorous. Mayur Tripathi's production design is straight out of life. Late Kaushal Naseem's action is fine. Virendra Gharse's editing is sharp.

On the whole, JOGIRA SARA RA RA is a decent attempt and had the potential to be a complete entertainer. However, it suffers due to a weak and flawed second half. At the box office, it releases with limited awareness and hype. Hence, it’ll struggle to find an audience.

IIFA 2023: Abhishek Bachchan: "Our cinema is reaching different corners of the world" https://ift.tt/7EApeKy

Actors Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal are set to host the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2023. The press conference on Thursday was attended by Farah Khan and Rajkummar Rao along with performers Salman Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, Nora Fatehi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Amit Trivedi, Badshah, Nucleya, Sunidhi Chauhan and Iulia Vantur. Bachchan says that it is good to be back in Abu Dhabi which is hosting IIFA for the second time in a row.

 Speaking to Khaleej Times, he said, "I think it is wonderful. Our cinema is reaching different corners of the world. I think that's something to be very happy about."

Talking about the stage fear and hosting duties, he added, "You think you get used to it, but you don't. And I think that's good because if you have stage fright and if you're nervous about going on stage somewhere, it means that it matters. I'd hate to be in a situation where I am careless about it."

He further said, "I like the idea that there is nervousness because that nervousness makes it mean something to you. It means you know it makes a difference if you do your best or not."

The grand finale of the IIFA Awards will take place on May 27 and will be hosted by Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal along with electrifying performances by Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Nora Fatehi and Rakul Preet Singh.
