Actor Pankaj Tripathi, who essayed the role of a sidekick to Sanjay Dutt's character Kaancha Cheena in the 2012 film Agneepath, has said that he fainted while shooting for his death scene. The actor, who is currently making headlines for his latest release OMG 2, told Mashable India that he held his breath for so long during the various takes that he passed out.

"In that scene, since he had to stab me 3-4 times, I held my breath in reaction ke chakkar me (in an attempt to react)," Pankaj said. "I didn't know how a person felt when he was stabbed. So, if you watch that scene closely, you will see my eyes are completely red. One can only imagine. I remember in the second or third take, I fainted for a few seconds. I fell."

Pankaj further added, “While the camera was rolling, I had a blackout and I fell because I must have held my breath for too long.” He continued and said that people gathered around him quickly and splashed water on his face. He came to his senses to see so many people surrounding him.

For the unversed, Agneepath was a remake of the 1990 film of the same name starring Amitabh Bachchan. The remake starred Hrithik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt, and Priyanka Chopra. Rishi Kapoor also played one of the antagonists in the movie.
